A Bay Cities Timeline…

After officially retiring from professional racing, the previous owner of this company, Scott Johnson, followed the career path of his father, Everett, and became certified arborist #600, eventually taking over his father’s business, Bay Cities Tree Preservation. Scott continued to serve the community as his father had before him, building a strong reputation and loyal clientele, many of whom came to regard Scott as a friend. Scott will always be remembered as an extremely kind, compassionate, and considerate human being, a lover of trees, an extraordinary athlete, an exceptional friend, a wonderful listener, a loving father and devoted husband. Scott’s fight with cancer and his ongoing work as a tree specialist inspired his wife, Tracy Ryan Johnson, to take over in Scott’s absence. Tracy not only shares her late husband's passion for trees but has also become a certified arborist herself. In the face of adversity, she embodies resilience and determination. Her decision to carry forward the legacy of Bay Cities Tree Preservation speaks volumes about her commitment to her family and her bravery. Her qualities extend beyond her expertise as a certified arborist, reflecting a leadership style that embodies empathy, dedication, and a genuine concern for both her employees and the community. Tracy is a brilliant mother who will continue to propel this company forward, making strategic decisions and ensuring that Bay Cities Tree Preservation continues to thrive.
